Die Linkwood Distillery liegt am Lossie, in der Nähe von Elgin. Die Brennerei wurde im Jahre 1820 gegründet und obwohl durch den letzten Umbau fast alles erneuert wurde, bis auf die alten Lagerhäuser, hat sich Linkwood seinen eigenen Charme bewahrt. Die Brennerei arbeitet mit 2 Washstills und 2 Spiritstills und bezieht ihr Wasser aus Quellen nahe Loch Millbuies.
Intensiv Goldfarben - bemerkenswert blumiger Duft, ergänzt durch Toffee und Vanille mit einer Spur von Rauch - sein Körper entwickelt sich langsam und ist von mittlerer Struktur, er wirkt lieblich am Gaumen, Aromen von Eiche, Mandeln und vieles mehr - auch im Finale ist er vielschichtig und interessant.
